Working at Mancinos

In the picture to the left you can see me and a customer I am working with on getting her order. I have worked on the register at Mancinos for over 6 months, it has given me better communication skills and got me out of my comfort zone. Overall I have worked there for going on a year now.

Watering plants in greenhouse

In this picture I am in the greenhouse at Barren County High School watering the plants that we planted in my Greenhouse Technology class. I have been a part of the agriculture program since I was a freshman. I have learned a lot about plants, animals, and even some mechanical work in hopes to use some of the information I have learned later on in my future.

In this picture I am sawing a board with a chop saw in my ag structure and design class. I have been in the Agriculture department since I was a freshman, but this is the first time I have been in any sort of shop class. I have stepped out of my comfort zone and I absolutely loved it and I wished that I would have taken more shop classes before now. There are several different projects that we work on in the shop. I chose to work on adirondack chairs and sell them to the community. I have learned how to use a saw, the different kinds of saws and what each different version is used specifically for.
